We are committed to helping our patients develop long term habits to set them up for continued success in their weight loss journey.
How Does Semaglutide Work?
Semaglutide is a compounded medication used for weight loss that aids in reducing hunger cravings and suppressing appetite.
Semaglutide is administered in the form of an injection. Patients self-administer these injections after full education and instruction are provided at the initial consultation. We know that giving yourself a shot can sound scary, but we promise to give you the support and education required.
Treatment length, as well as dosage, varies from patient to patient and will be discussed in depth at your in office consultation.

How Do I Start My Weight Loss Journey?
We’re thrilled to be your partner in your journey to healthy and sustainable weight loss with Semaglutide injections. After you’ve scheduled your prescription weight loss consult, you’ll be emailed a pre-appointment screening questionnaire that must be filled out before your consultation. Elizabeth will then review your health history to determine if you are a good candidate* for Semaglutide. If your pre-appointment screening is without concern, you will then move on to the next step of a Semaglutide consultation. The initial consultation fee is free. This consultation includes a review of medical history, as well as an in depth discussion on Semaglutide, and instruction on self-administration of weight loss injections. Elizabeth is passionate about patient education and firmly believes in collaboration with her patients to create a customized treatment plan.
We are excited to say we are now offering both in person and virtual Semaglutide consultations. Get started on your weight loss journey from the comfort of your home! Our only ask is that you have access to a scale during your virtual consultation, as the provider will need to visualize your weight. Additionally, you must reside in WI to be eligible for our virtual weight loss program.
*Please keep in mind that “passing” the pre-appointment questionnaire does not ensure Semaglutide prescription approval, as a virtual or in person consultation is required.
Medical Weight Loss Pricing
At Illumatox, we like to keep things simple. Our weight loss program is auto billed monthly, and is $450 per month.
Treatment Duration
This includes all medication as well as follow up appointments, which are required, at a minimum, every 10-12 weeks. We offer our follow up appointments both in person and virtually, for your convenience. If following up virtually, you must have access to a scale, as your weight will be monitored at each appointment. Treatment duration with Semaglutide varies from patient to patient, however, Semaglutide for weight loss purposes typically is not a life-long medication.
